Transformation Thru Relaxation
Having graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health & Physical Education from Missouri State University - Springfield, MO Patricia received training and a Diploma from the Florida School of Massage - Gainesville, FL. After being licensed to practice in FL in 1986, she worked for Chiropractors, an Osteopathic Physician, several Spas, and had her own Practice. In 1996 she and her family moved to the Atlanta community. Here she has worked with chiropractors, has her own practice, and has taught Massage Therapy - developing the curriculum at what was then Georgia Medical Institute. Currently, she serves people at an office in Alpharetta, a spa in Roswell, a bed in a nursing home, a Yoga studio in Snellville, or occasionally bring the table to you.
With a philosophy that includes Dignity & Respect for all Life Forms and helping enlighten others to develop a Healthier-Happier Planet, Patricia approaches Massage Therapy as a serious healing modality that can be respected in the Major Medical Community. She encourages everyone to share their enthusiasm for Massage Therapy with their doctors and continually ask their medical insurance carriers to cover it. Research now proves that stress in the body and mind - that constantly affects the adrenal glands - is destructive. Massage Therapy can be a way of providing accelerated deep rest which brings us back to the healthy mental & physical state needed for healing. She explains: "In the realm of Health Care, the best treatment for almost any condition is the Human Touch with 'listening hands'. Though this method is ancient, it is still revolutionary and inspiring. When someone comes to us in pain, and then can walk away pain free and more mobile, we feel truly blessed to have been introduced to this work and grateful to be a channel for healing energy." Patricia's training & interest has allowed her to utilize several modalities in the same session and enjoys adapting the treatments to the individual needs of each client.
Making a home in Fulton County, GA Patricia enjoys indoor activities such as food preparation & homemaking, as well as outdoor activities including gardening, camping, and watching the sun rise or set.
